Montreal, QC — July 9, 2025: Amid shifting conditions in the aluminum and beverage packaging industry, Hart Print is scaling up, not slowing down. We're expanding our Montreal production facility with state-of-the-art D360 digital can printing power, a move that reflects Hart Print’s continued investment in long-term capacity, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

This expansion not only strengthens Hart Print’s operational base in Canada, but also aims to deliver greater consistency, stability, and speed for our growing client base.

“This isn’t just about adding equipment,” says Stephanie Hart, co-CEO of Hart Print. “It’s about creating a more reliable experience for our customers, with better lead times, more flexibility, and the same quality we’re known for.”

The expansion includes the addition of Hart Print’s tenth printer, crowned “Céline” as a tribute to our deep Quebec ties and signature blend of style and innovation. The Hinterkopf D360 model features enhanced resolution and speed, allowing us to meet increasing demand from Canadian customers. This investment unlocks the next phase of growth, including new job opportunities and expanded operational capacity in Montreal.

With this latest move, Hart Print is reinforcing its leadership in the digital can printing space, especially within the Quebec market, where we continue to serve a diverse and evolving beverage industry.

“We’ve seen huge growth beyond traditional beer segments,” says Veronique Guertin, Hart Print’s Head of CX. “Whether it’s functional drinks, cannabis beverages or non-alcoholic products, more producers are choosing cans for their sustainability, shelf life, and design potential. Our expansion helps us grow alongside them.”

Continuing our tradition of naming our printers after musical icons, Céline joins Joline and Freddie in Montreal; Chaka, Prince and Ludacris in Chicagoland; and Elton, Roxanne, Taylor and Snoop in Elkton.

Hart Print’s investment in its Canadian operations comes at a time when many in the industry are re-evaluating their strategies in response to aluminum supply and tariff challenges. By choosing to scale now, we're reinforcing our long-term vision and ongoing belief in the value of flexible, digital print solutions for beverage producers across North America.
